Don’t Panic over unapproved University Courses

The Commission for University Education (CUE) has directed universities to ensure that all their courses are accredited.

The commission has also directed the universities to stop declaring options within already approved programmes as separate degree programmes for placement of students.

The Commission for University Education (CUE) has at the same time assured members of the public, especially students, not to panic about the programmes they are already enrolled in and directed universities with unapproved programmes to seek accreditation.

In a statement, (CG) CUE says it allowed the Placement Agency to admit students in new programmes in the 2019/2020 academic year after compliance issues were addressed.
