The late Ivan Semwanga’s brother arrested over fake gold

Ed Cheune, real name Edward Kyeyune has been arrested by Internal Security Organisation (ISO) over obtaining money through false pretense.

Ed Cheune, who is the late Ivan Ssemwanga’s brother, was arrested on Monday 18th.

The self-styled Rich Gang group is well known in both Uganda and South Africa.

Cheune and crew are more recognizable for splashing money in clubs and holding the Rich Gang party at the upscale Guvnor club. He has been lying low since his brother passed on in 2017.

Cheune joins the long list of ‘rich’ socialites and money bags facing the law over obtaining money in false pretense.

Last year, Cheune added a cruise GLE Mercedes AMG 2018model which costed him Ugsh400M.
