Manchester City are in Champions League action today when they take on Schalke in Germany.

The Sky Blues should be feeling confident of progressing past Schalke into the quarterfinals.

While Man City are joint top of the Premier League, Schalke are down in 14th place in the Bundesliga.

Man City remain in the running for four trophies this season.

This Sunday it’s the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley.

City have been drawn against Swansea in the FA Cup.

So how confident are the Sky Blues of winning on all fronts?

When that question was posed to Kevin De Bruyne, the Belgian responded as follows:

I think the goal is not to win the four competitions. The goal is to win every game and then the farther you progress.

To set standards to win all four — that’s nearly impossible.

Why Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona success hasn’t been replicated
One journalist from Nigeria asked Pep Guardiola an interesting question on Tuesday.

Guardiola was pressed to discuss why he’s failed to replicate his Barcelona success since leaving the Camp Nou.

While Pep won the Champions League with the Catalans, he’s not achieved that success with Bayern Munich and City.

The questioner posited that Guardiola was only successful at Barca because he had players like Leo Messi and Andres Iniesta in his side. Pep replied saying:

I completely agree with them. Completely agree with them. I would not argue for one second because when I was there I said many times that I had incredible players.

I did as well with Munich and Manchester but in Barcelona I was a lucky guy, I’m sorry, I was lucky. I agree with them.
