Singer Akothee aka Madam Boss is known to say it as she see’s it. She openly speaks her mind and does things not to impress people but herself.
She has lately been making headlines following her viral pictures that have been doing rounds in the internet, pictures took during her performance at the Papa Remo Beach Party that took place in Watamu.
She faced a lot of criticisms with a number of Kenyans bashing her for apparently failing to be a role model to the many people that look up to her. Akothee on the other hand has time and again insisted that she is nobody’s role model since when she was poor nobody cared about her.
One of the people that criticized Akothee is Kenya Film and Classification Board CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua. Mutua said that in as much as Akothee is a talented musician, she had failed to live up to expectations.
Akothee has now responded to Mutua in the most unique way possible.
“Who is Ezekiel Mutua? Nonsense! Where is the media when I want to promote my music? You only look for me when negative publicity follows me. Nonsense!” said Akothee.
