Meet the police officer who offered his 3 months salary to man nabbed smuggling daughter from KNH

They say, blessed is the hand that given than the one that takes,this phrase is familiar to a noble police officer who has sacrificed his three months salary to help Boniface Murage who was arrested .

The Officer Tamo Sanaiet, who worns for the Administration Police said that he was touched by Murage’s plight and decide to help him.

He handed Murage Ksh56,000 and advised him to comply with the law as told by the court after his release. 

He decided to give his three months salary to Bonface the guy who tried to smuggle hid baby out of Kenyatta because the bill had already been settled.

Murage was arrested for trying to leave Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) with a baby over a Ksh56,000 hospital bill but he has since been released.

On Tuesday morning, the court handed Murage a 3-month suspended sentence.

Senior Resident Magistrate Caroline Nzibe, however, warned Murage that he would be sent to jail if he engages in another offense during the three-month period.

This means he will be on State watch for the stated period and expected not to commit any other offense.

Murage was charged with attempting to commit a felony contrary to section 389 of the Penal Code.
