How Safaricom is trying to run away from Dusit Terror Attack with new Promo

Giant Telco firm Safaricom is making a lot of noise on social media with their new Shukrani Kocho kocho Promotion.

The ten-week campaign will reward more than 5 million Safaricom customers across the country with more than KES 250 million in prizes.

In addition, more than 100 Safaricom customers will walk away with a KES 1 million cash prize each. To participate in the promotion, customers will earn ten entries for every KES 20 top-up, and one entry for every KES 20 transacted on M-PESA.

But we have been here before and we know how Safaricom Promotions always end. I have never won anything nor has any of my friends. There have been rumors that the firm always has predetermined winners.

But blogger Robert Alai has revealed another dark side of Safaricom that we didn’t know. Alai says the company always comes up with promos whenever they’re dealing with a scandal.

Every time Safaricom is dealing with a scandal, there is a promotion to be launched to drown questions on the misdeeds. Now #ShukraniKochoKocho comes after it became clear that Safaricom assisted #DusitD2 attackers— Robert Alai (@RobertAlai) February 19, 2019

Alai Believes that the new promotion is a way of running away from their involvement in the recent Dusitd2 Terror attack.
