Controversial gospel singer Ringtone now says secular musician Akothee
is a mad woman and should leave the “madness job ” only for the mad people.
This has come after the mother of five’s explicit antics in recent days which has come up with a lot of criticism from Kenyans including the Kenya Films and Classifications Board boss (KFCB) Ezekiel Mutua.
Ringtone, who has himself had his sanity questioned at times, took to his social media to weigh in on the drama surrounding the Benefactor hitmaker as he offered Akothee some free advice.
In a video posted by the Tenda Wema hitmker, he urged Akothee to stop the stunts which he says are only fit for a mad person.
According to Ringtone, a celebrity cannot simply do it all as trying to be a musician, dancer and outright mad person was a combination which could only have a negative impact on one’s reputation.
“Akothee fans have sent me to you they are complaining. They are saying you cannot be a successful musician, a successful dancer and a successful mad woman. You cannot be successful in everything. Akothee stick to your lane of singing and dancing. you cannot succeed in being mad. Leave the mad people to do their job,” he said.
A number of fans concurred with Ringtone that perhaps Akothee’s vast wealth and the manner in which she acquired it was finally catching up with her but that will remain pure speculation.
