An unidentified elderly woman came crying out loud to theDeputy President William Ruto for what she said a senior politician had grabbed her land.
The woman caused a stir at Kakamega during the burial to Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali in Mumias where DP Ruto had attended.
The lady who was among the mourners caught DP Ruto by suprise asking him to intervene and have her reclaim the prime property.
However the DP ignored her and proceeded to the main dais to mourn the bereaved family.
Later she successfully secured an appointment with the DP through Sports Cabinets Secretary Rashid Echesa
The two would be pictured having a long talk after the funeral but details of what they discussed remain scanty.
