Chelsea Fans Brutally Attack Sarri For Failing to Stop a United juggernaut

The chants were so loud from the away end that surely they cannot be ignored.

And the chorus of disapproval for Maurizio Sarri told another story as time is running out on yet another Chelsea manager.

Manchester United’s army of travelling fans made it clear they want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be their next permanent manager with a repertoire of songs in his honour – and it is easy to see why.

Solskjaer has given United back they identity, their love of the FA Cup and he has reinvigorated Paul Pogba back to being the driving force of their midfield.

Pogba scored one, made one and rampaged through the midfield as if he owned Stamford Bridge after inflicting humiliation of Chelsea and leading United into the sixth round.

Even more impressive was United’s response to Solskjaer’s first major setback as, less than a week after losing at home to Paris Saint Germain, they gave the perfect answer.

United are still a long way from being back to where they were but Solskjaer has restored the pride and yet it already feels like the end is nigh for Sarri.

Chelsea’s fans voiced their frustrations by chanting: “f*** Sarri ball” quickly followed by songs about Frank Lampard as yet another manager appears to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Sarri cut a hopeless figure on the touchline, unable to stop the United juggernaut and the Chelsea fans showed no mercy as they turned on him in brutal fashion, jeering substitutions and then joining in when the visiting supporters chanted: “You’re getting sacked in the morning.”

The only question now is how long Sarri has got left because Chelsea were booed off at half time, full time and the more damning evidence was on the pitch as they were completely outclassed by United.

United were lethal going forward and yet Chelsea also gave them an open invitation as “Sarri ball” clearly does not extend to having any sort of plan to stop the opposition.

United’s pass and move routine had Chelsea chasing shadows and, as good as the visitors were going forward, Sarri’s men were a complete shambles defensively.

The trouble for Sarri is that Solskjaer provides a compelling argument for changing the manager because United look a completely different side from two months ago.

They play with such flair and confidence now, there was no hangover from the PSG defeat and they strolled through Chelsea with style and ease.

Chelsea were shocking defensively, David Luiz switches off and Marcos Alonso went AWOL while Pogba and Marcus Rashford’s pace tore them to shreds.
