Their have been a number of debates on the National Integrated Identification Management System(NIIMS).The pilot programme of the same is set to be rolled out in 15 counties according to Interior Principal Secretary.
The process of gathering information is set to be captured by use of biometric kits and data capture forms. The system will also gain access to finger prints and facial features.
Their was also speculations that the DNA of every person will be captured which the Principal Secretary refuted.
