Likoni Member of the National Assembly Mishi Mboko who was thrust into the spotlight has finally spoken out over Ksh7 million disputed toilets expenditure that rocked her constituency.

Speaking at Shikaadabu Primary School on Sunday where she commissioned the 32 toilets, the outspoken MP revealed that the money was accounted for and that the toilets were meant to help the area residents which they did.

She further explained that the necessary amenities were in a deplorable state all along until the Constituency Development Fund came to their rescue.

Mboko further took the opportunity to address her critics accusing them of spreading propaganda against her projects and yet her track record was clean.

“There are those who are paid to spread lies about me but my record is clean,” she stated.

This is, however, not the first time outrageous expenditures on toilets have rocked government offices across the country.
