Controversial singer cum businesswoman Akothee has revealed that she will not change her sense of fashion to please anyone.
The mother of five who is being trolled over her dressing code over the weekend performance says her mum is not okay with her fashion choice but didn’t utter a word because is tired of complaining.
“My daddy is my number one fan , after my mum resisted for years, she finally joined us?? I thank God for my supportive parents, my mum. Still have issues with my dress code, but this time round she dint utter a word , mabybe she is tired ????, hataa nyinyi mtachoka tu ?? sikomi mimi ?my dad is just living his life , mr dont care as long as music is dancable ,all the way from Rongo”
Her dressing attracted criticisms from Kenyans including Kenya Films and Classification Board (KFCB) boss Ezekiel Mutua who termed the musician’s antics as filthy and demonic.
According to him, Akothee should not be considered as a role model for young girls and her actions should be marked as deplorable.
