He was captured by CCTV cameras on February 10, 2019 at 12:52 a.m jumping over the fence of residential apartments in Kilimani.

In the video, he is seen looking around and – when his view seems clear – he pulls a typical ‘Spiderman’ stunt and climbs through a stair rail to access the first floor.

It is reported that on that fateful day, he made away with an unspecified amount of money said to run into millions from one house whose safe he broke into. The house owner suffered shock and was taken to hospital.

On Valentine’s Day last week, a foreign citizen’s safe was also broken into and his gun stolen.

One of the victims of the thug’s exploits who spoke to Citizen T.V on condition of anonymity said she woke up one morning and her lock was broken and her door opened.

“I live on the second floor, and one morning I woke up and my jewelry and my laptop were missing, my house had been broken into,” she narrated.

“I got hurt… because anything can happen, material things can be recovered, but it really scares me that someone was in my house and I’m all alone.”

In one residential area, according to sources who spoke to Citizen T.V, the burglar climbed a tree at 8p.m and stayed up until 1a.m before coming down and making his way into an apartment block.

Kilimani OCPD Michael Muchiri has now assured residents that both day and night patrols have been increased in pursuit of ‘Spiderman.’

Detectives are also trying to piece evidence to establish if he enjoys protection from security guards to continue with his vice.
