Kenyan Female Artist Akothee has responded to her critics over her controversial dance styles and poses.
This comes after her performance during the Valentine event which went down at Paparemo Beach In Watamu.
The Singer faced backlash from a section of Kenyans as well as from the moral police; KFCB Boss Ezekiel Mutua.
Mutua called her out saying that Akothee cannot be a role model to our daughters and he expressed his disappointment over the audience that was cheering her on.
Despite this criticism, Akothee says that her performance was the best since the beginning of her career.
She also mentions that someone can never and will never satisfy everyone and she prefers doing what she loves and whatever she wants than trying to please people then later regret.
The Singer also added that those who are judging her and expressing so much bitterness should react the same way towards corrupt politicians who do not deliver.
Akothee also insists that for her it is all about securing the future of her children and that should not be anyone’s concern.
Mutua had also described such kind of entertainment as demonic and Akothee maintains that during the judgement day, everyone will have their own case to answer.
Even as many remain bothered by her actions, Akothee says that she feels fulfilled and even promoters and her audience, felt the value of their money.
“This was the best performance I have ever had since the begging of my career , I feel fulfilled and promoters felt value for wat today paid for , my fans felt value for their money and time , what a charged audience full of positive energy , all the stake holders could not wait for us to enter new terms, its 2019 , stay here for more , its just but the beginning of madness”
