Seven people dead, several seriously injured after a lorry collided head on with a bus at Kamara area on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Nakuru County Police Commander Stephen Matu said the two vehicles collided head-on at Kamara on Sunday at about 2am.
The Nairobi-bound bus was travelling from Bungoma and had 65 passengers.
Mr Matu said the drivers of the two vehicles are among those killed.
The number of those injured have not been released by the police after the grisly road accident.
The police are still doing investigation to establish the cause of that road accident involving the lorry and the bus.
This comes days after CS Fred Matiang’i formed a commission which one of their tasks was to ensure the roads have zero accidents.
