A feud has been reignited between Somalia and Kenya after suspicions that the Somali Government unilaterally auctioned off oil and gas blocks in a contested maritime area.
A Somali took to twitter and twited,”To respond to Kenya’s disproportionate behaviour by cutting all services including flights from Somalia to Kenya, penalising Somali citizens and their daily services; Somalia should respond robustly in kind by stopping all Khat importation into Somalia from Kenya.”
This was not taken well by Kenyans who clapped back saying miraa move is a small hit compared to their intention of deporting the many Somali’s in Eastleigh residence which somali think is the hub of kenyan economy due to khat business.
Somali govt says Kenya to remove KDF serving as AU in Somalia and stop the miraa trade. That’s their move ??
How about we start by clearing Kakuma and Dadaab then move to Eastleigh and deport the Somali government cause that’s their operational area, just to mention a few ??— KARIA ? (@_ItsKaria) February 17, 2019
Central MPs claimed Central kenya ?? is the economic hub in the country… Somalis are also claiming Eastleigh is Nairobi financial hub… ujinga mtupu.
