Serena William’s not so little extravaganza for her baby girl Olympia came after she had confessed not to being able to throw the girl a first birthday bash due to her Jehovah’s Witness beliefs. She however proved that a party any other time wasn’t off the cards, showering her daughter with a barnyard and carnival themed event on Saturday.
The 37-year-old beauty took to Instagram Stories to share all the kids having fun while showing her millions of followers around her backyard.
Serena then showcased her man, Alex Ohanian’s handy work – sharing the play equipment he’d put together. However, he may have forgotten the most important component of the slide house – attaching the actual slide, which laid flat on the grass.
‘Oh, boy, is that a slippery slide or is that…let me check that it’s permanent.’
There was also a little sweet treat set up for the guests, named ‘Olympia’s Candy Shop’ throughout the home. It featured an array of cakes, cupcakes, and sweets all amongst a giant teddy bear sitting in a red car.
Alexis also took to social media to share an adorable shot of his daughter seemingly enjoying her party.
‘Ok, we’ll get some chickens & ducks,’ he captioned.
Serena’s extravaganza comes after she revealed last year that Olympia wouldn’t be getting a first birthday party as she was part of the Jehovah’s Witness religion.
