Top Nigerian Musician Mr Flavour has shared words of wisdom with Kenyan artists.
This comes at a time where Kenyan musicians had been demanding more airplay and advocating for support from the media.
The ‘ololufe’ hit maker says that the secret recipe that will solve most of the issues that they are addressing is hard work.
Mr Flavour described the music industry as a competitive space and therefore demands extra efforts and calls for determination.
The Nigerian was giving this advise to help even upcoming artists to be able to enhance their music game.
Flavour says that the media indeed needs to support their own but he insists that the end game is always hard work.
To emphasize his point he says that he is not speaking about one time kind of hard work but consistency is important.
“so many people are watching you and want to draw inspiration from you so it is not a one day thing for Kenyan artists you have to prove people wrong”he said
Mr Flavour says that Kenyan musicians sing so well and clearly everyone is blessed or talented but what makes one stand out is their consistency.
Some of the artists he salutes are the legendary Sauti Sol and Madam Boss Akothee who he worked with in the song dubbed ‘Give it to me’.
Mr Flavour says that he does not mind working with some Kenyan artists in his future projects.
