An Australian, Benjamin Gsull, has been arrested for allegedly covering and switching off CCTV cameras of an apartment in Nairobi.
Police had received complaints of an attempted house break-in and were carrying out investigations when they discovered him on the surveillance footage.
Cornfirming his arrest, DCI Kenya through it’s twitter wrote,’Benjamin Gsull~an #Australian national who was found covering & switching off CCTV cameras in an apartment within Nrb was today arrested. Police had earlier received complaints of attempted housebreaking & were carrying out investigations when they discovered him in the footage”.

During a search in his house, police found two rounds of ammunition and a bag of bhang.
Adding that ,”Upon searching his house(he stays in the same apartment) rounds of ammunitions & other substances believed to be #bhang were found. He is currently in safe custody & will be charged with being in possession of ammunitions without a firearm certificate among other offences.”

Gsull is in police custody and is facing several charges including; Possession of ammunitions without a firearm certificate, Possession of narcotic drugs,preparation to commit a felony, Being illegally present in kenya and Failing to register as a foreign national
