As a Richie Spice fan, I must admit the allure of meeting one of my childhood icons in the flesh is one I can hardly ignore.
A staunch follower of the Ras Tafarian culture, Richie Spice has been one of the most influential musicians in the reggae genre, paving way for the new wave of artists like Koffee and Chronixx.
What makes Spice an emblem of hope for both Africans and West Indies inhabitants is his spread of peace, unity, and love amongst nations of the Black Race.
In fact, he recently expressed optimism on a Kenyan court ruling that allowed a Ras Tafarian girl to attend school with her dreadlocks.
If that’s not enough, Spice has advocated for the legalization of marijuana around the globe, in tandem with the adoption of the Ras Tafarian way of life.
