Here is the the cash Mourinho was paid after being sacked

Jose Mourinho and his staff were paid a staggering £19.6million pay-off following his sacking in December, according to Manchester United’s half-yearly accounts.

Mourinho was shown the door last year after a series of poor results and just before the dismissal, he had signed a new deal with the Red Devils. Woodward revealed the club’s latest accounts, with figures showing fees paid to senior goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro, opposition scout Ricardo Formosinho, fitness coaches Stefano Rapetti and Carlos Lalin and analyst Giovani Cera.

“Exceptional items for the quarter were £19.6million, relating to compensation to the former manager and certain members of the coaching staff for loss of office,” the report stated.

The Special One received £15million of the figure, with the remaining £4.6million split among his backroom staff.
