Today marks the World Radio day and we take a look into Kenya’s best Radio Presenters.
Vincent Ateya- Radio Citizen
He is a veteran Radio Presenter and his contribution in the industry is highly notable.
Vincent Ateya is a radio citizen Presenter and has a hand in other top projects counting the fact that he is among the founders of Qwetu Radio.
He is a presenter of a breakfast show dubbed ‘Jambo Kenya’ and his co- host is Inspekta Mwala.
Kenya is proud to have him in the media platform and he is among the top since he has served in the industry for years.
Jalango – Milele FM
Milele FM Present Jalango is also among Kenya’s best and has worked on national radio stations all along.
Jalango’s story is inspirational and his transition even in his career gives hope to anyone who in enthusiastic about such a platform.
He has worked on other radio stations; including Hot 96 under Royal Media Services together with the media guru Jeff Koinange.
MassaweJapani- Radio Jambo
Swahili Presenter at Radio Jambo and she is a lady who wears many titles.
She is multitalented and she counts as a phenomenal women in the media industry. They call her the Queen of Radio and indeed she is!!
Her Journey began at Baraka FM and she has since gained a huge following in the radio circles and beyond.
Alex Mwakideu- Milele FM
Adelle Onyango– Kiss 100
Adelle first went live on national radio in 2010 on 1FM’s drive show! In 2013 I moved to Kiss 100 and has been there ever since.
The Radio Queen is well versed in this field and her works are of impact even beyond the media circles.
Adelle also has her own foundation that serves to help the youth and empower them with skills and provides them with a platform to explore their potential.
To celebrate World Radio Day, Adelle says that she is so glad that in an industry that will try force one to change so that they can “fit in” or get accepted, she has managed to remain true to herself
