Top Kenyan Radio Presenters celebrate the World Radio Day

Top Kenyan Radio Presenters have today joined in to celebrate the World Radio Day.

World Radio Day is an observance day held annually on 13 February to celebrate radio as a medium. It was proclaimed on 3 November 2011 by UNESCO’s 36th General Conference after originally being proposed by the Kingdom of Spain.

Kenya is indeed blessed to have passionate Radio Presenters who blend in so well with their audience and their work is appreciated.

The Radio has always been the medium that reaches a larger audience and has remained relevant even with the changes of technology.

Currently, the fast way of getting news is through social media sites but the Radio still plays a key role in the society counting from the educative aspect as well as the role of entertainment.

Radio Presenters are with no doubt solution providers in the society and through their work,  they contribute towards shaping the society.

The Radio Queens and Kings today took to social media to share their messages in celebration of the World’s Radio  Day.

Some of the Radio Presenters  include; MassaweJapani, Jalango, Matetongola, Jeff Koinange among others
