Ole Gunnar Got the Bitter Taste of Defeat as United Caretaker Manager in their Match Against Paris Saint-Germain

Goals scored by Presnel Kimpembe and Klyan Mbappe saw United get their first loss under the the management of Ole Gunnar.

The two goal left them with a cliff to climb as in order to book a chance for the next round as Paris Saint-Germain edged them 2-0 and Paul Pogba sent off.

The injury that saw Lingard and Martial out of the field also added more sorrows to the talented United’s bid to beat the visitors.

PSG tasted United’s goal twice before the hour, Kimpembe scored the first goal through a corner before Mbappe accurately finished a cross from Angel Di Maria to shutter the dream of Ole Gunnar’s unbeaten record.

Things turned worse after their star Pogba was sent from the field after a foul on Dani Alves, to mean that he will not play against PSG in the second leg in Paris.

United seemed to be outclassed by the visitors as most of their plans were thwarted. However, the first threat came from ex-United player Angel Di Maria, whose curling cross went past David De Gea’s post.

United also gave it a try through Ashley Young, who fed Rashford and whose cross was saved by Gianluigi Buffon.

The loss against PSG at home means that United have to work so hard and beat PSG at least 3-0 to boot a chance in the next round.
