“I used to sing in a church” Gabu reveals his unknown side

 

 

Kenyan artist Gabu has shared a part of him that not many people might not know of. The Singer says that he has ever sang  in a church before and although he is  not a gospel artist he got the ‘holy’ vocals.

Gabu also added that  he is multi talented since he can sing  and at the same time his rap game is on another level.

On whether he used to be part of a choir, Gabu said that he cannot describe it as that but he used to sing in the Church. The artist added that music runs  in their family and his mother also  used to sing  in Church as well.

Gabu was speaking during an interview on Mseto East Africa when he opened up about this side of him.

In the studio also  partly  entertained  the listener by singing Church songs.

Gabu  joins the long list of musicians who apparently started their music career by singing in the House of the Lord.

Although secular artists  might not really come off as religious people this is just a ‘perception’ that some people have.

Beyonce, Akothee and Elani  are also on the list of musicians who have experienced singing in a church setting.
