Land scams in Kenya are no thing of the past.
Every now and then an organization or individual comes through and promises Kenyans a piece of land at unbeatable prices.
Kenyans, doubtful as we are, go through all the necessary channels to make sure the project is legit. Despite the hurdles we’ve been put through, we have managed or some of us have managed to come out through unscathed.
But what about the con men? What to they do to get the hard earned money of the always suspecting Kenyans?
There’s only one thing they can do-up their game.
And they did…to a whole other level.
Diamond Properties is the latest company makes headlines for the wrong reasons this year. The company used respectable and trusted media celebrities to swindle millions of shillings from unsuspecting Kenyans.
Diamond Properties banked on Maina and King’ang’i to sell Kenyans land that was or is no longer existent. Maina and King’ang’i host a popular morning radio show in which people call and discuss their issues- sex related issues.
On some of the projects, Diamond Properties used the face of these presenters to sell land.

Throughout this Diamond Properties scam, Kenyans have come out to support other Kenyans who have lost their money through the firm. They have also come out to give Diamond Properties a piece of their mind.
These are some of their reactions:
Brand influencers, ambassadors, videographers, photographers, designers and all the workforce to make marketing of a certain product or service successful ought to be more vigilant than ever henceforth. Scammers are everywhere! Just survived from one!

What happens to us if we stop believing in our own people, especially presenters?
With scammers everywhere, what next for Kenyans?
Who are we to believe?
