Pep Reveals What He Hates as Manchester City Manager

Pep Guardiola might have got his best moments, won all he wants but he has revealed the thing he hate most as the manager of Manchester City.

Pep has been known of his successful career as manager right from Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now as City boss, but the job has not been a walk in the park.

He revealed in last weekend’s interview with ‘Soccer AM’ the best and the worst moments he has experienced as a manager and especially for the Citizens.

When asked about the best moments, he stated that he finds pleasure in leading players to success and setting his team up.

However, when he was asked about the worst moments, he revealed that  he hates to tell a player that he is not going to play this weekend. He believes all his players are good and deserve to get an opportunity to play for a weekend. But unfortunately, only 11 players are usually allowed in a field.

“The worst day by far is when you cannot let your players play, that is terrible, it’s a disaster, that kills me. I try to make rotation but there are many players who deserve to play and I cannot let them play because we can only play 11, that is the toughest moment.” Guardiola said.

The Manchester City Boss also spoke of his love for football management. He said that his love for management was basically fuelled by Johan Cruyff when he was still a Barcelona player.

Pep also admitted that of all the three clubs he has managed, he was privileged to have a team of incredible players with great attitude.

Guardiola has not failed to clinch major trophies in all the clubs he has managed. Currently, his team Manchester City is leading ahead of Liverpool with a goal difference.

This is after he led the Citizens to clinch the Premier League trophy last season.
