Spurs have an agonizing injury list with leading scorer Harry Kane suffering an ankle injury and is likely to be out until March while Dele Alli injured his hamstring in the 2-1 league win at Fulham and is also out until March.

South Korean Son Heung-min left for the Asian Cup but the return of Brazilian forward Moura will at least give Pochettino some attacking options as the season nears climax.

While speaking to the press, Pochettino said, “Sissoko and Lucas are back in contention for tomorrow and Wanyama hopefully back for the weekend.”

Fernando Llorente may, however, get another chance at Chelsea despite scoring an own goal at Fulham.

“18 months ago we tried to find a different place for him because it didn’t work,” Pochettino said in regards to Dutch forward Vincent Janssen, who remains out. “Sometimes it happens. The relationship between the player and club doesn’t work.

“Our relationship is very good. It’s not personal, it’s professional.”

With a trophy always eluding Pochettino, the club is expected to make more summer signings to improve the side’s depth.
