The recent appointments by state that awarded Jared Peter Odoyo Kwaga, a key suspect in governor Obado’s corruption case caused a stir in social media forcing the cabinet secretary revoke the appointment few hours later.
In the Kenya Gazette of February 11, the Cabinet secretary reversed the appointment of Jared Peter Odoyo Kwaga, who was to be a member of the KIMC council.
The decision was somehow late as netizens, had strolled the CS on tweeter and roasted him mercilessly.

Kwaga is one of the key suspects in the ongoing Sh2 billion corruption investigation facing Migori Governor Okoth Obado.

He and six other people were to serve that institute’s board for three years.
The others were Zebedeo John Opore, Edward Musebe, Stella Onyiego, Beatrice Marshall, Dee Mutisya Kivuva and Simon Kagiri Kamatu.
Meanwhile, rights activist Okiya Omtatah has asked the Employment and Labour Relations Court to quash the recent appointment of poll losers to parastatal boards.
