Antonio Rudiger walked up to where Chelsea supporters were seated and apologized for the dismal outing against Manchester City. The Blues were taught a footballing lesson by the English champions who moved back to the top of the Premier League with a superior goal difference.
Fair play to Antonio Rüdiger who came over to the Chelsea supporters to apologise and was abused by a ‘fan’ in the away section. Toni said, “I’ve come over to say sorry, stand in front of me if you‘ve something to say!” The ‘fan’ shut his mouth, Toni gave a kid his shirt

Pep Guardiola’s side scored four first half goals inside 25 minutes and scored two goals in the second half to embarrass Maurizio Sarri’s men 6-0. After the blast of the final whistle, Chelsea players went over to salute their traveling supporters. However, Rudiger became a subject of verbal abuse as he took off his jersey and handed it over to a young Chelsea fan.
While the German defender gave his shirt out, another supporter attempted to rebuke him and appeared to swear at the 25-year-old. Stewards at the Etihad were nervous something could happen with some of them holding out their arms to hold back the defender.
