Popular Benga musician Ajoji Dume passed on February 9 at 5am at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu County.
This has been confirmed by Linet Aluoch Pamba , a fellow Benga artist .
Ajoji Dume, who is widely known for the hit song “Nyabos Mora”, died after suffering a long illness.
Kenyans have since flocked into social media accounts sending condolences to family and friends.

Dume is survived by a wife, Atis Pesa ‘nyar Kowino’, who is also a Benga musician. Information about his burial plans yet to be unveiled.
