“Kibwana si Mkamba,” Kalonzo’s new strategy to silence rebellion

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been faced by  a wave of rebellion from Ukambani Governors. Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana standing up boldly and disowning Kalonzo.

Governor Alfred Mutua of Machakos and Charity Ngilu have also been part and parcel of the new rebellion who are determined to end Kalonzo’s Kinship of the region.

But how prepared are they to battle it out with him?

Kalonzo has downplayed a brewing rebellion instigated by Governors Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni),  Alfred Mutua (Machakos) and Charity Ngilu (Kitui).

During a meeting of Kamba leaders in Machakos County on Friday, The Wiper leader said the governors have the right to do whatever they want but it should be within the party constitution;

“These are people who are part of us. They have a legitimate right those of them who want to aspire to leadership positions in this country. It is all about democracy. They are in competition. Lawful competition, but they should play within the rules of the game,” he said.

Makueni Woman Rep Rose Mutheu urged the leaders to put ‘petty issues’ aside and stop hurling insults at each other.

Although the meeting was supposed to bring all the Ukambani leaders together, The Three governors did not attend.
