Ex Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has exposed a man who has been pretending to be son, and says they have no relationship with him.
According to Kabogo, the man who has a slight resemblance with him and identifies himself as Tony Kabogo on Facebook was going around lying to unsuspecting people that he was his son.
In a Facebook post, on Saturday, February 9, the man was an impostor who needed to be languishing behind prison walls.
Tony describes himself himself as a businessman in the matatu industry, in his Facebook profile.
“Tony Kabogo a business guy who works with matatus called Manchester Thika Road and many jobs,” reads Tony Kabogo’s Facebook bio.
The former Governor termed the man as an impostor and a conman.
“This guy is a fraud and an impostor. He’s not my son. He is a conman be aware. If you spot him report to the nearest police station,” Kabogo clarified.
Several Facebook users support Tony Kabogo and asks the Governor stop disowning his son.
“Nani haoni huyu ni kabogo mwenyewe (who doesn’t see this is a replica of Kabogo. He’s his coloured photocopy,” said George Ngige Ndekere.
Dancun Maina said there was no difference between Tony and William Kabogo.
Well, perhaps most of us have ‘lookalikes’ as well.
