Popular Benga musician Ajoji Dume responsible for joyfully entertaining his dholuo music has in sad news revealed passed on.
He was the biggest thing in Luo Nyanza some ten years back when he burst into the airwaves with his ‘Nyar Boss Mora’ hit song.
Ajoji Dume, who is widely known for the hit song “Nyabos Mora”, died at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kismu County at 5am Saturday, February 9.
Ajoji Dume’s death has been confirmed by Benga artist Linet Aluoch Pamba.
Ajoji Dume died after a long illness and has been survived by a wife, Atis Pesa ‘nyar Kowino’, who is also a Benga musician.
