They say there is nothing new under the sun. But is that really true? I mean every day, human beings never disappoint to serve us with a big share of wonders.
Now take for example the case of this woman who went to a shop to buy a very expensive casket because she does not want to be buried in a cheap one.
Zodwa Wabantu, a journalist in South Africa has just bought a coffin worth 150k. She went ahead and posted pictures of herself in the expensive furniture on Instagram.
She wrote: “Death! Society is so afraid to talk about death. We all gonna die, and I made a choice to purchase my Coffin while alive. Its worth 150k.” (£8540).
But why is she buying a coffin when she is not planning on dying soon? Well, she says she has not overcome the death of her mother who died earlier and was buried in a cheap coffin. She also says she does not want to overburden her family when her time comes.
“When we buried my mother, it was a sad affair. She was buried in a cheap coffin and her funeral came together on things that were patched together.
People always told me that I would never amount to much and would suffer the same fate, so I’ve been living my whole life trying to prove them wrong,” Zodwa said to Tshisa Live, Briefly reported.
