Kivutha Kibwana eyeing 202 2 presidency, says Makueni Deputy Governor

The Makueni County Governor Hon. Kivutha Kibwana will be vying for Presidential seat in 2022, this was confirmed by Makueni County Deputy Governor Adelina Mwau.

Mrs. Mwau urge the Makueni residents to give full support to Governor Kibwana during the 2022 election period.

Kibwana claimed he  was ready to exit wiper, showing displeasure at the Wiper Party leadership.

Speaking at Kaunguni in Kibwezi where she attended a public participation programme, the deputy governor said Kibwana has all qualifications needed for him to be the president of Kenya.

“Let’s make an agreement that when he vies for the seat (presidency), we give it to him. He has made us number one… counties and even countries visit us to learn from us,” She said.

The Deputy Governor confirmed this days after Governor Kibwana showed displeasure at the Wiper Party leadership claiming that he is willing to exit Wiper.

“I have realized that the top most Wiper leadership has never abandoned the undemocratic and dictatorial tendencies of the Kanu of the 1980s, said Kibwana.

“Just like we fought to rid ourselves of the one party regime, we must similarly fight to rid ourselves of Kalonzo’s desire to install a one party region in Ukambani,” he added.

Mwau went ahead and requested locals to be at the Governor’s back by giving him their support and give a blind eye to his distractors, she said this responding to those against the Governor’s sentiments.

She asked the former Machakos senator, Johnstone Muthama and other critics to practice developmental politics instead of attacking Kibwana on his plan to vie against Kalonzo Musyoka.

Muthama told Kibwana that he would only be followed by “few dogs” if he dares to vie any seat against the Wiper chief.
