Is Willy Paul trying to compete with the Giant Otile Brown in his own game?

Kenyan Music is just interesting trust me. The artists are even far much interesting than the music itself.

But their is one thing that has raised eyebrows over a couple of months now between Otile Brown and the Gospel Counter part Willy Paul famously known as Willy Pozze.

With no doubt they are all doing romantic music, making sure that love is spread through their music and it is very commendable.

But why do they always release their songs at the same time? Who is trying to disapprove the other one? And if yes they are trying to measure who is the beast then who would you bet your money on?

If you are keen you will notice every time Otile Brown drops a hit Willy Paul also drops either after 2 days or after a week.

This trend started sometimes last year when Otile dropped his song Niacheni after a bitter break up with his sassy girlfriend Vera Sidika. Willy Paul also dropped another audio titled Imani. In the audio he Willy Paul used one of Otile’s lines “Rafiki alidanganywa eti anapendwa mimba yake ikatolewa…” This was  one of the claims Otile raised through his song Niacheni.

The game of drop i drop did not end their. Early this year in preparing their fans to the valentines mood, Otile dropped a super hit, Kenyan Girl. You Know what ? Two days later Willy Paul dropped his Harambee jam. Do you think this raises eyebrows of a looming competition?

We are done. Just this week, Otile also dropped a new song called Crush. Im telling you this is a straight hit. Everyone is just loving it.

But Willy Paul is again at it with a new jam; Bebi Bebi (Kizungu zungu).

According to Willy Paul his new music is aimed at winning the hearts of his fans back.

But most people out here feel that Willy Paul is trying to compete with Otile Brown in his own game. Otile has already earned himself a spot in the Kenyan music industry with his romantic and well planned lyrics.

Willy Paul trying to release a song to compete with Otile Brown for Airplay is simply mistaken.

I think as much as he is doing good music, he should re-consider his time of releasing his music to enjoy airplay.

But between Otile and Willy Paul who do you thing qualifies to be Kenyan John Legend?
