England Star To Snub Real Madrid In Favour Of £125k-A-Week Man Utd Pay Rise

Star Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford will reportedly net a huge pay increase by signing a new deal at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old has shone since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment and netted his 10th goal of the season in Sunday’s 1-0 win against Leicester, although he did not always follow the instructions of his boss at the KP Stadium.

But the club and the player are keen to pen a new long-term deal, it is reported, particularly with rumoured interest from Real Madrid, and talks have begun about a new contract.

Rashford’s current deal expires in 2020 and United would almost certainly invoke the clause that extends it by a further year.

Real are said to be keen on a £100million move for the England forward as part of a triple raid, involving two other Premier League stars.

Now, a report from the Daily Star states that United will offer Rashford a new deal that would see his wages increase from £75,000-per-week wages to £200,000.

The Manchester-born England international would pen a contract running until 2024, with United bosses ‘aware Rashford has become one of the most sought-after stars’.
