Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has known no peace this week after a letter full of chillling jibes from ODM Party surfaced on twitter castigating him for not being familliar with the constitution.
The matter was made worse when Murkomen responded to the letter with a series of tweets accusing ODM of enganing in sideshows rather than addressing the genuine and serious issues he had raised in defence of his clients; Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori who were suspended by the Orange party.
Responding to one of his tweets were Murkomen had alleged that ODM was afraid of him as an advocate for the suspended legislators, Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo laughed off the remark with a sarcastic tweet likening his representation to that of a terrorist being represented in a court of law by Osama Bin Laden!
“Hehehehe…, when you’re accused of terrorism.., and your Counsel s Osama Bin…Some wisdom. replied Otiende who has differed severally with Murkomen on matters interpretation of the law and its applicability.
Murkomen was yesterday made a social media laughing stock after ODM party through Secretary General Edwin Sifuna asked him to take time and familiarize himself with the Party’s consitition in order to avoid future embarassment of citing articles that do not exist.
