The gospel scene has been on the limelight for the last couple of days following a scandal by two of the biggest gospel stars where they were accused of sexually assaulted a 20 year old girl who ended up beenn infected with a sexually Transmitted Diseases.
According to 2018 Groove Male Artist of the Year, Guardian Angel the trials facing the industry now are part of a shakeup sweeping the gospel scene and are for the greater good and that change was necessary in the industry in order for it to move forward.
“It’s a small shakeup. Shakeups are in every industry. Everything will be ok…It is for the greater good because at the end of change is necessary. When it occurs people get in line,” said Guardian.
In addition he said that the main reason why most artists have not spoken out against the DK, Hopekid saga was out of fear.
“It is a sensitive topic to speak about, unless you are speaking about with a lot of wisdom, its not something you just jump on and speak about. If you are not sure, you are better off keeping quiet,” he added.
