POLICE IN Thika launch manhunt for 7 drug trafficking and robbery with violence suspects who escaped from Makongeni police cells early today.
The group is reported escaped from Makongeni police cells before they were presented to court earlier today.
They are reported to have found their freedom by cutting the cells grills.
The police have begun the manhunt and also urging the general public to offer information of their whereabouts.
Drug Trafficking in the county of Kiambu has been on the rising trend for quite sometime. The law authorities are struggling to put punitive measures to bring to an end this menace.
