New Adventures: Details of Ruto’s trip to London

The Deputy President William Ruto has landed in United Kingdom London where he is expected to spend sometime before his much anticipated public lecture.

The Deputy President was received by state officials from London where he is expected to hold a number of talks in matters of national development.

DP Ruto is expected hold talks with UK officials on how to advance bilateral trade and investment. This is a key issue especially with the Big Four Agenda where President Uhuru Kenyatta is bagging on improving manufacturing industry in the country.

Apart from that DP Ruto will have bilateral talks on how to improve education, tourism; cement existing cooperation frameworks and explore new opportunities ahead of Brexit.

The Deputy President  has been invited to give a talk at Warwick University on Saturday and he will also give an address at Chatham.

Ruto’s lecture at Chatham will be on Kenya’s national unity and regional integration: Challenges of Inclusion, Growth and Change. According to the London based non-profit, non-governmental organisation whose mission is to analyse and promote the understanding of major international issues and current affairs, there are still challenges facing the full implementation of the 2010, Constitution.

Kenya’s High commissioner to UK and former State House spokesman Monoah Esipisu has invited at least 1000 people to attend.
