Duo who defiled form two student in Nakuru charged

Two people were charged yesterday at a Nakuru court for defiling a Form Two student.

Jairus Ngaira 27, and Peter Ochieng’ 26, were charged with defiling the minor when they appeare before Resident Magistrate Eunice Kelly. The two allegedly committed the offence at Kivumbini Estate, Nakuru, between January 21 and February 2.

According to the prosecution account, one of the suspects lured the girl into his vehicle and drove off to his house in Kivumbini.

According to investigations officers, the suspects locked the girl in the house where they defiled her in turns for 10 days.

The suspects were apprehended after the minor’s aunt reported police that her niece was missing. later, the minor, who was reportedly found in critical condition, was rescued from the suspect’s house. The accused persons, however, denied the charges and were released on a Sh200,000 cash bail.

The case will be mentioned on February 21.
