Manchester City fans have praised their team and believe that they have a huge reprieve towards retaining the English Premier League trophy after victory over Everton.
Last minute efforts by Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus ensured that the Citizens secure a win and much more, return back to the top of the premier league table on goal difference ahead of Jürgen Klopps’ side.
However, Liverpool still has one game in hand as they have played 25 matches against the leaders Manchester City that have played 26 matches.
Decisively, the reds can still come back to the top if they win against Manchester United earlier this month as City will go to Wembley for the finals of the Carabao cup.
Nonetheless, City fans have lauded their side for the professionalism that the players showed during their win against Everton. They believe that the win was the game changer towards retaining the trophy.

But danger lurks ahead as the Citizens will have to face Chelsea this Sunday, a team that first broke their unbeaten record this season.
Even though Pep was delighted to see his team win over Everton, his thought immediately shifted to Chelsea when he was invited to bask in the achievement of his team this season and week.
“We started well with Arsenal and Everton but now comes a really, really big test. Chelsea is an exceptional team with seven days to prepare that game. We will try. We have to prepare well.
“This is a real final for us this weekend. If we are able to take these points, we are going to take a huge step forward.” He stated.
Manchester City is leading the table with 62 point with a goal difference of 48 against their rival Liverpool that have 62 points with a goal difference of 41.
