Being a public personality come with more disadvantages than advantages and Grace Msalame happens to have embraced all of them.
Just recently a social media user blasted her on social media claiming that she had nothing to offer just her body. The user further continued comparing her success to that of other social media celebrities who are in her circle something that did not please Grace.
To her response Grace wrote, “Let’s talk about Comparisons for a minute… I’m raising two beautiful intelligent women of Faith & to come to terms with the fact that I have to raise them in this Social Media era where one minute it’s a smear campaign filled with the same rhetoric of objectification & the next a distraction from a person who’s only resort is to get behind a keyboard & spew negative energy!
My Brand is in no way associated with negativity towards my own sex or the opposite sex! There is more than enough light for all of us to shine as bright as God will Grace us??each & every one of us has been created for a purpose that only you can fulfill! please never forget that! Instead allow for God to use you however He sees fit no matter your life circumstances or story… For remember we all have a Story! And the brave step we all must take is to OWN IT?? I made the bold decision to own MY! decisions & I also learned massively from them like how my Mr will probably forever be guarded because ladies & Gentlemen this is the reality of Social Media… And it will take time before we figure out how to manage ills like Cyber bullying but I believe in Exposure! Exposure is step one of distinguishing negativity. May God bring healing where we hurt & fill us with His unmatched love so that we may be overflowing with that love for others?? 5 years off screen, I had to comeback with something Authentic & what better way than to remind us that life is indeed actually Unscripted… There will be ups & there will be downs & through it all you will Grow, You will Learn, You will Glow & you will be Grateful?? And everything about this post & day is just that Unscripted?
