Courage at Its Peak! – Meet The Brave ‘Vehicle Thief’

I thought thieves consider the security of the places they steal from before making an attempt to steal. However, one and only Wilson Kithome Muinde, a 35-year-old man  proved otherwise when he allegedly tried to steal a vehicle from a no-go-zone- outside the D.C.I’s office in Nairobi on Tuesday.  He must have had the guts!

Maybe he had planned to celebrate the valentines with car at all costs. I am tempted to think so because this kind of courage is rare! He took the risk.

Poor Kithome, the police eventually caught up with him.

Police said that the culprit who comes from Utawala was caught trying to remove the vehicles spare wheel.

Wilson Kithome Muinde is set to be arraigned in court to face charges of attempting to commit a criminal offence.

If found guilty, Kithome will learn the hard way as;

Section 389 of the penal code states that anyone who attempts to commit an offence is liable to half the punishment of the offence he/she attempted.

“Any person who attempts to commit a felony or a misdemeanor is guilty of an offence and is liable, if no other punishment is provided, to one-half of such punishment as may be provided for the offence attempted, but so that if that offence is one punishable by death or life imprisonment he shall not be liable to imprisonment for a term exceeding seven years,” states the law.
