A new research claims that women’s brain may be more age resistant than men’s. For a long time we were meant to believe that boys will be boys. Well, forget that. From the research, women’s brain tend to be three years younger than those men of the same age in terms of metabolism. According to researcher Manu Goyal, females score better than men on cognitive tests as they age.
The research sampled 205 people aged from 20 to 82. They underwent a brain imaging scan that measured the flow of oxygen and sugar in their brains. The data was was then put into a computer program.
When the machine was trying to place the age of women as compared to men, it constantly aged the women as young when compared to men in terms of what their brain metabolism pattern looked like.
This means females might be smarter for a longer time as compared to men. I guess this explains why when you go to the village, most old men tend to forget and become slow at doing things. They lose the juice.
The typical female brain is considered more youthful and energetic than the typical male brain throughout life. That is science, for me I think men age faster because they have more responsibility. And they think too much. They have a lot of pressure to make things right at home.
If a man is relaxed and carefree, he can as well just age slowly like their female counterparts. Acha stress.
