Ommy said he is getting better and is now ready to focus on his musical career. The musician dedicated his heartwarming music piece to his fans who may be going through a difficult time but lack the strength to keep up with the hardships.
“Tests, pain, sadness and prayers are the things that stood out in my life one year ago. Three life threatening surgeries but I am still standing today,” the singer wrote. In July, 15 2018, the singer was flown to South Africa for a lifesaving surgery after developing throat related complications.Two months later, the Tanzanian heartthrob returned to South Africa for specialised treatment after his condition worsened.
In December 2018, the musician’s father revealed Ommy was airlifted to a German hospital after his condition worsened yet again. ”The truth I was informed my son’s condition has worsened again. They have taken him to Germany for treatment and a possible surgery again. I have been talking to them on phone to know how he is going on.” The singer’s dad revealed. He was later discharged from hospital and reported to be recuperating at Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s home.
