Tekashi 6ix9ine has plead guilty to 9ine counts in his federal case.
It came to light that on Jan 23, Tekashi had struck a deal with the prosecutors. He plead guilty to counts of racketeering, drug offenses, firearm possession, rug trafficking and conspiracy.
The hip hop community didn’t take this news too well. His fellow peers and rappers have heavily criticized him for ‘snitching’ after the news broke.
Fortunately for him, his girlfriend and baby mama has chosen to stand by him and defend his actions after rappers like 21 Savage and Snoop Dogg slammed him.
“I’m a just sit back and watch all these washed up rappers talk sh*t. Y’all got nothing better else to do,” she posted on Instagram. “Y’all clowns got too much time on ya hands.”
He also admitted his part in a failed attempt at fellow rapper, Chief Keef’s life. In part, his statement read, “I paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him. The shooting took place in Manhattan. I did this to maintain or increase my own standing in Nine Trey.”
He adds, “I apologize to the court, to anyone who was hurt, to my family, friends and fans for what I have done and who I have let down.”
He is facing a minimum sentence of 47 years in prison. so this could be the beginning of him snitching.
