When Tanzania film industry banned Diamond Platinumz’s ex-girlfriend Wema Sepetu from acting,we all thought that was the end of her career.
However former miss Tanzania has make a major comeback after being featured in one of the biggest movies on Netflix dubbed “Cop’s Enemy”.
Wema will be acting alongside other movie bigwigs such as Van Vicker, Auntie Ezekiel and John K-ay.

Tanzanian actress Sepetu had been banned from acting and charged with posting sexually explicit content after images of her and her boyfriend went viral on social media, on 2 November 2018.
“The film board, as mandated by law, has decided to take the following action against Wema Sepetu: to lock her out of the acting and arts industry for an unknown period of time until the day the film board will be satisfied that she has corrected her behaviour. The film board will closely monitor her,” Joyce Fissoo of the Tanzanian Film Board said.
Sepetu has “gone against the country’s national values and brought shame to it”, she said.
On 17 October, the former Miss Tanzania shared a photo of herself and her “future husband” on Instagram. A video of the couple kissing in bed was then reportedly leaked to her four million followers.
However Sepetu issued a public apology and asked for forgiveness.
